THE FIRST DAY
The first day: Segismundo (Segis for friends) is our robot.
- At first, we arrived to the sciencst class at 8:00am, and there we met with Antxon and with Maren, they are 2 teachers to teach us how is the robot going to be.
- There are 2 more techers, monica and Oscar.They give us one box with lego pieces and electronic objects.. And with that pieces we have to do a small robot which can do a lot of things like: walk, turn, go back....
- We started building the robot with the lego pieces, and after that we put the electronic thing on the robot.When we finished the robot Antxon and Maren said us to do a route on a table with objects on it. Then we had to programme the robot with a computer, like this the robot could walk,return,go back...... We had a lot of problems with the computer, because we hadn´t know how was the computer programm.
WHEN WE STARTED WHEN WE FINISHED
- We arrive to the laboratory and we take to Segis for programme it like the teacher says us. We have to do a semicircule with Segis without leavin the colour line. We aren't very good programming so we late too much...
- Then Antxon say us to do a box with the lego pieces and when we finished give it to him to put in the table for the next exercise... boxes finished and in the table we programme few times to the little Segis becouse he wasn't in working lavor. We have to do a tour and collect the boxes in order. Oscar say us to go to 3ºC to watch a film.
- In the afternoon we go to 3ºC and and Oscar put the video. We think that the film is very interesting and exating. is about the age 2035, in this age the robots and the humans live together and the protagonist ,Sponner (a detective) think that the robots are bad he meet susan a cientific and Sony a special robot, in the film tries to fight to bads robots programmed by VIKI a positroned brain.
- We don't finish the film but Oscars say us that tomorrow we will go to finish the movie.
- First , like every days we go to the laboratory and we continuous with the robots which we start the first day.
- We have to programme the robots to play bowling. We have to disassemble one part of the robot that we did the last day and then, put other pieces to build an other robot with a handle. That handle have to push the ball which is in the middle of the robot and the some papers that they did the roll of the sticks.
- we haven't luck and we only fall down 3 sticks in all the day. But other groups fall down all the sticks and they do a small competition with the robots, and the group who has win is Cristina's group.
- Then we have put a sensor in the beginning of robot to perceive the colours and it stops when the robot found a black line. We spend a lot of time with the sensor but Segis don't work...
- In the last hour we go to the informatic room to do the blog and the films question. Cristina starts doing the questions and Iratxe and Yurena doing the blog. In the afternoon we finish the film ( I, robot) and then we go again to the informatic room to finish the blog of the days 2 and 3.
- We enter to the laboratory like every days and we turn on the robots and the schools computers. Antxon explains the new exercise; we have to put a sensor, this sensor have to perceive the colours and it have to follow a blacks lines. In the table is a black line, in the beginning was very wide but at the end the line was more and more thin, the sensor can't percive very well the colours and it misleads...
- We do it right the first time,and the teachers say us that we are the first... Then Maren say that the robot has to stop when ends the line. Our robot do there work very good and it stops in the end of the line.
- The third exercise is place the eyes of Segis in one posicion and conect the cable in the port A for the moving and the working of the robots eyes. We create an invention and we put in the robot.
- At the end of the end of the class the robots have to prepare for the fight... our Segis have some defence in the sides and weaporning in te beginning and behind. We don't know if our robot is enough dangerous or strong but we do all that we can; we hope that tomorrow can win the sumo competition....
- We enter to the laboratery like every days but today Cristina is ill, we turn on the robots and the computers.Maren explains the work that we have to do, today is the sumo competition so we have to prepare the robots to the competition.
- First, we start building the robot, we have to put the pieces to fall down to the oponet and for example we built a lever in the front part.Then we have to program the robot to the fight but we have some problems with it.
- After that we go to the fight in 4ºC the robots has some problems and we have to programme it again to solve it. Then the fight start and in the first round we win, but we haven't any luck and the batery of Segis finsh...
- We lose the others round and Iratxe and yurena have an argument becouse the robot doesn't work... Later Antxon give us a paper with one programme to put in our computer. This programming is effective although we lose again the round.
- Afterwards the fight finish and the teachers say us to pick the pieces of lego and disassemble the robot. We are unhappy becouse Segis has gone. Next we go to the informatic class for finish the blog and do the scratch.
- Subsequently we make a party and then we play cards. To finish the day we clean the class and we go to our houses
